PARENT TRAINING (ages 2-12)
Parent Training equips parents with strategies to help teach their child-appropriate language and social and play skills that will benefit their child and their family throughout a lifetime. Through coaching by a SARRC Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and hands-on practice, parents will learn about naturalistic and effective practices.
SARRC's Parent Training is offered in two formats:
- One-week (serving families of children ages 2-7)
- 12-week model (serving families of children ages 2-12)
SARRC's Parent Training programs are available to families living in Arizona. In both of our one-and 12-week models, parents and clinicians collaborate in person at SARRC's Phoenix campus to identify individualized and meaningful goals for the family and their children.
For a limited time, we are offering an accelerated 6-week Parent Training version of our traditional 12-Week Parent Training Program. Participants will still receive the same coaching, strategies, and concepts, but parents and their SARRC BCBA coach will meet virtually twice a week for six weeks. Our traditional 12-Week Parent Training program is still available and schedules can be determined between the parent and SARRC clinician. Our 1-week intensive model is currently suspended.
