“Our son has never had a job, and we're not going to be in Arizona forever. This is the first program that does something for the future of people like Brian. It's a relief that something like this is now available.”

CulinaryWorks® is an entrepreneurial venture designed to engage young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder in every aspect of food production in a commercial kitchen. Participants develop valuable workplace skills such as hands-on job training in preparing, packing, distributing, and selling signature soups, granola, and healthy salads and sandwiches--all available in our cafes and through our catering business.
CulinaryWorks® extends beyond the functional benefit of learning how to produce culinary goods. It provides young adults and adults with ASD an opportunity to live successfully and work more independently.
The next phase of CulinaryWorks® will be to promote internships and employment made possible through replicating the Beneficial Beans® Cafés and expanded catering opportunities. CulinaryWorks® will also expand its repertoire from soups and granola to include breakfast and lunch items for the new Beneficial Beans® Café located in Mesa.
With a mission of training and employing adults with ASD, Beneficial Beans Café is an excellent venue to showcase the abilities, talent, and value of individuals with autism in our community.
